Supercharged V10

Any experience with Supercharging a V10? Kenny Bell makes a nice unit. I was thinking about a modest boost.

Have you guys seen anyone run the V10 with a supercharger?

Heres a link to a thread with some info.
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/7...ercharger.html

As far as I know the only SC availible for the 2V V10 is centrifical unit from Vortech. Paxton may make a kit but I'm not shure.

The roots or twin screw superchargers such as the Kenne Belle and Whipple units have been discontinued a while back and are the best units.

Most guys run 6-8lbs of boost and get well over 100rwhp and 100 rwtq with the Whipple or Kenne Belle units.

From what i understand a lack of interest. Trying to find a used one is hard, i bought 1 of 2 that i have seen go through ebay in about a a year or two.

My Kb does 6 to 7 psi, the gains are ridiculous, if you run into problems though you cant just take it to the dealer, they wont be able to help so you end up having to find a tuner you trust and listen to his advise.

If i could do it over again i would do a custom turbo set up. proable try to mount one right around the factory y pipe make all custom plumbing, run a KB boost a pump 36lb injectors, and a piggy back tune. and shoot for 6 to 10 psi. it would prable cost about as much as a used supercharger. plus you dont really now the condition of the SC until you see it in person.
that's my 2 cents.

Not to mention you get superior mileage with a turbo.
