Im curious as to who is going this year, and who isnt. Smokin in the smokies in Gatlinburg TN for those who dont know... Im coming, bringing the girlfriend with me, leaving on the 9th, arriving there that evening and spending 4 nights at Deer Ridge.

If youre going, tell when and where your staying.

 

I really want to go but I've been down to 4 days a week at work since xmas so the xtra $$ just not there . So I will just have to sit this one out.

I want to go but dont know when Ill have my trans fixed, and even if I do then I got to come up with the money since the trans will most likely drain all of it.

I'm prepping for a 5 month all expense paid tour of the middle east starting around late April/early May, so I'm out...

I'm in Kris. I believe the wife and Kids are coming too. This IS a family friendly event, right? I am planning on convoying down with you on the 9th and staying through Saturday. I haven't called the Lodge and made my reservations though. I should probably do that on Monday.

 

I will be there for Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday hopefully. With fuel going up I might just find somewhere to stay at up there this time lol. I found this on The Diesel Garage.

Just want to remind everyone, EVERYONE is welcome to attend our event.

I am still waiting on Wayne to get settled and we will get back on setting up times and what's officially going on for Friday.

So far we have:

Thursday- Tech Day/ Pm Corey(Squatch) for times on Thursday.

Friday- A sled pull has NOT been determined.
Smokin Breakfast- cooking will start at 7:30 am and ready to eat around 8:30. PM Bouncer or reference his thread about the breakfast.

*Alternative for Friday-All voluteers who have signed up to help on Saturday will have a chance to Dyno on Friday. We will keep the dyno open late. If you can't be there until Saturday am please let me know. I will update this post as soon as we hear about a sled pull.
Test and tune at English Mountain Dragway. They open at 5 pm. There will be a convoy from the campground. Be at campground around 4:30 if you don't know where it is at so you can convoy over.

Saturday- the dyno will get started at 8:00 am and will run until DPM says they can not take anymore for the day. The sign up sheet will be put out shortly before that. So, be there early. We are planning on having the Dyno Brackets again. Prizes for the winner are still coming in. I will update this post as we get closer as to the details on the prizes. Due to letting everyone have a fair amount of time on the dyno, dyno tuning will NOT be allowed on Saturday.
Show-n-shine registration will begin at 9:00 am and will go until noon. Judging will start at noon and will go until 4:00. S-N-S shine judging will be done by Smokin' attendees. See me for registration and judging cards.

Lunch will be provided between 12:30 and 1:00

Smokin bonfire afterdark-We usually give everyone time to grab a bite to eat and then the party gets started between 7 or 8. Music and assorted beverages provided. Bring your own if you prefer to. Don't forget your Ipods for Saturday if you want to listen to your favorite music.

Rampage_F350 is coming with me. Mike (Tenn01PSD350) is staying with us, and there is a possibility of Jtharvey(jeremy) claiming the other bunk.

I talked to Jody Thursday, I asked for the 8am time slot for live tuning on Thursday.

Hey Jason, if Jtharvey doesnt want to stay at Deer Ridge with me, then you are welcome to my other room. I reserved two, and my buddy isnt going to be able to make it, so now im stuck with two rooms unless i cancel one of them. I dont think youre going to get a reservation this late, but if you want to stay there (adjoining rooms with me), then youre more than welcome to it, i really dont want to cancel it.

 

I am there!!! Just need to know the dates.
