Diesel Bronco, it finally happened.

Pulled this out of the superduty forum, looks like a 6.0.

Very nice indeed.

I have discussed with a diesel nut friend of mine this very swap on my 1979 Bronco.

Interesting at the least.

Rick.

They beat me to it. I plan on putting a 6.9 or 7.3 IDI in my 88 this summer along with the suspension out of what ever donor truck I find.

You can get adaptors for the Cummins swap at fordcummins dot com but the price of the trans adaptor is a deal killer for me. I am going to try for a 7.3L IDI.

I personnaly prefer the 78-79 body style but I always thought that it would be neat to take a 96 F-250, shorten the frame and set a 96 Bronco body on it. Maybe lighten the springs a little in the rear so it doesn't ride like an M/T dump truck.
