I made my first kitchen batch Saturday and I have the prettiest little jar of bio that looks just like apple juice sitting on my desk. I am also looking out of my office window looking for the truck that is delivering my cone bottom tanks. If anyone wants links for places like tanks, let me know.

You can make it in a 5 gallon bucket with a boat paddle if you want small batches. Cost? If you get the oil free, less than a buck a gallon.
Check his site out. You might want to make a liter tonight.

I have figured with Methanol at $3.10 a gallon and free oil I will be around $.80 a gallon BUT I have spent the last two days trying to get more sources for WVO and found one that I offered $.20/gallon for their oil. many are getting $100 for a full dumpster(200-300 gallons) Its not as easy as it was 2 years ago to get oil.
I read here

this is the style processor I am building.

I have alot of friends with restaurants and have the hook up with the maintenance man at 3 schools and 6 churches with schools, so he is giving me oil also. If I had to pay 20 cents a gallon for wvo, i'd do it in a heart beat. Average of $.80-$1.00 a gallon is great, heck if I had to pay 20 to 50 cents a gallon i'd do it. Anything to beat 4 bucks a gallon.
I go through 1000-1500 gallons a year landscaping so it'll save me a ton of money. I'm considering switching to diesel mowers even.

Hit 4.20/g here today. Perfect for my neck of the woods (420). While fueling up today, I offered my truck to a really old hippie (I'm a middle aged one) in exchange for his Bug ('72 Super Beatle)...straight across...he just laughed...$125 for a fill. OUCH!

I wish our Wally World sold diesel. Only two places in town sells it, what's that tell you? -Gas may go down but diesel never does!
I'd make my own fuel but some locals pretty much have that market wrapped up, too. So it's 3.89 a gal for me. I really feel for you paying over $4.
Was told the other day experts expect over $5 by this summer for diesel.
I'm not a personal invester but most of my retirement is there.
