Quest for Knowledge> Spark Plug Change=New Head: Who is responsible?

plugs and trans fluid
So, I went to my little country Ford dealer and had a nice talk with the SM. He told me that the only time they have seen any problems is when the owner or an Indy has tried to change the plugs. They have only one tech that does the plugs and he is on top of the TSB's and does them by the book. So, I ask the big question.....Who Pays if.....well, I guess the customer has to pay cause it's out of warranty. He was a up front guy, no BS, told me to go to 100k and not to worry about it. They do a lot of plug changes.
So then, I ask about the trans fluid. He said to go to 30k if I'm pulling or 50k if I'm only using it as a comuter. They only do the complete fluid change thru the cooler lines, drop the pan and clean the filter, 126.00 bucks.
So, unless the MoCo comes up with a recall, I guess were going to have to deal with any problems. Just do your homework, talk to the SM and tech, get one your comfortable with and say a prayer. Untill then, enjoy the ride. Joe
