FE/NP435 ... Which is the correct clutch

Shopping at the Autozone they listed 2 clutch kits for my 73 F250.
One an 11" and the other 11.5" ... The 11.5" was unavailable and they said they couldn't order it. That made it easy to assume that I had the 11" ... Got it home and it wasn't correct.

Did some searching here and have found posts referencing 11"/11.5"/12" clutches. On the advice of some of the threads I've checked RockAuto.com.
This is what they list.

---------------------------------------------
BRUTE POWER Part # 90206 {Cover Type: Lever; 12x10Tx1 1/16}
---------------------------------------------
RHINO PAC Part # 07027
11" OD x 1-1/16" ID x 10T; w/ 11" Clutch
----------------------------------------------
ACDELCO Part # 381115 {replaces 88989136 #88989136}
PLATE KIT,CLU PRESS & DRVN(W/CVR) [US vehicles]; LEVER; 12X10TX1 1/16; MAY BE LARGER DIAMETER REPLACEMENT CLUTCH. FLYWHEEL MUST BE REPLACED OR RESURFACED.
----------------------------------------------
RHINO PAC Part # 07514
11-1/2" OD x 1-1/16" ID x 10T; w/ 11-1/2" Clutch
----------------------------------------------
CENTERFORCE Part # DF200015
Centerforce Dual Friction; Clutch Kit; Size 12 in.; 10 Spline By 1 1/16 in.; Incl. Pressure Plate/Clutch Disc; Does Not Incl. Throwout Bearing
----------------------------------------------

How do I figure out which one I have?

Thanks ....

Anthony

Take your clutch off (I assume you did already) Measure the distance between the mounting holes, and (duh) measure the clutch plate diameter. With the distance between the holes, you can call up any place that makes clutches (like centerforce) give them that number, and they will tell you which model of theirs you will need. If the spline count and diameter is right, you can get your flywheel drilled out for a larger clutch, assuming you had a smaller one.

I did get the diameter of the clutch disc a couple weeks ...

I don't exactly recall ... It was 11.5" or 12".

No way for me to take a measurement now ...I'm away from home for a few weeks. I'd like it to order it before I get back.

Can this be figured out by elimination... The 11" pressure plate bolt pattern was 1/4"- 1/2" too small.

Of the 3-finger style pressure plates used behind FE's ... How many sizes were there?

that you would have to ask a guy who sells clutches for a living, or somebody who has a book?

FYI, Centerforces website says you take a 12" clutch.

do you remember the bolt size 5/16 (1/2in head) or 3/8 (9/16in head) the 12 in uses the bigger bolt
