Knocked out the pump today. Took 3 hours total, probably a good 45 minutes of it trying to start the banjo bolt. The trick with the socket and extension wouldn't work for me, just got it by hand finally.

Is the o-ring between the fpr and filter housing of special material resistant to fuel, or will a standard o-ring from Ace Hardware do? Ford sells it as part of a service kit for about 40 bucks.

You want to get a high temp o-ring, i get all of mine at a local hydraulics retailer. Every size you need and CHEAP.
Ford would only sell me the turbo pedestal o-rings in a kit for $90, i went to my shop there and got them both for $1.50.
Hope this helps
