We are on dial-up for internet service here and because of that, I missed a note from Randy in Idaho mentioning that he will take the 76 Crewcab. I hope that he gets this note and will contact me about where and when at rrobblee@primus.ca

I want to put a set of chrome nerf bars on my 79 crew and can't find a company that sells them. Can you fellows help me out? Is there a company that carries them or is there a set I can get for a newer model truck that will work?

I found a set of these (no clue what they were meant for or off of) left out for scrap steel by one of the neighbors at my industrial unit/shop. I grabbed them and held them up to my truck and they look like they would be pretty easy to make work. All I would have to do is make brackets for them to bolt to either the body or the frame. Not a big deal for me - but if you don't work with metal much I guess it could be some work...

i could be wrong but i think if you get down to the core support it is the same, so you need every thing but can do it....but i am more into the 67 to 72 trucks.

Thinking the Government stimulus plan is working is like thinking that taking water form the deep end of a pool and dumping it in the shallow end will raise the water level of the pool.

I would imagine that if you can install a 79 grill/lts in a 77 that it can be done vice versa, that application requires moving the headlihght buckets re-drilling the mounting holes, so it may also work w/ your application only backwards..if you get what I mean
