Good Luck, I have tried to find it on my 99 to no sucess. I have been told that it is located in the middle of the dash. Do you know you have keyless? I only ask because my truck will enter the reprogram mode for the keyless but I can't find the box or any evidence of it coming with keyless from the factory.

I have NO idea WHERE the module is.....sorry. Go here:http://www.bedlib.org/ebsco.html
to see if you can find it in the parts/maint/elect manual. Use the word "library" for both the user name AND the password.

If the 99 is the same as the newer trucks, then here is more info:
The dealer can hook up their computer to your truck and get the code for you but they will charge you to do that.
You can find it yourself for free, it is printed on the security module behind the dash ( where the transmission tunnel meets the firewall ). You will have to pull back some of the carpet and insulation to see it.
Here is a thread with more info on finding it:

Here is a way to check if your truck has the remote entry system:
You can try the programming procedure for reprogramming remotes, if step 5 in this procedure works then you do have keyless entry and just need to buy some remotes to program.
If step 5 doesn't work, your truck does not have the keyless entry option.
1. Ensure the vehicle is electronically unlocked.
2. Put the key in the ignition.
3. Turn the key from the 2 (LOCK) position to 3 (OFF).
4. Cycle eight times rapidly (within 10 seconds) between the 3 (OFF) position and 4 (ON). Note: The eighth turn must end in the 4 (ON) position.
5. The doors will lock, then unlock, to confirm that the programming mode has been activated.
6. Within 20 seconds, program the keyless entry keypad by pressing the 7 • 8 and the 9 • 0 controls at the same time.
7. The doors will lock, then unlock, to confirm that the keypad programming mode has been activated.
8. Within 20 seconds, program the remote entry transmitter by pressing any button on the transmitter. Note: If more than 20 seconds have passed you will need to start the procedure over again.
9. The doors will again lock, then unlock, to confirm that this remote entry transmitter has been programmed.
10. Repeat Step 8 to program each additional remote keypad or entry transmitter.
11. Turn the ignition to the 3 (OFF) position after you have finished programming all of the remote entry transmitters. Note: If more than 20 seconds have passed you will need to start the procedure over again.
12. The doors will once again lock, then unlock, to confirm that the programming mode has been exited.

Only the keypads that were installed at the factory are hardwired into the truck.
