Cold air intake / throttle body spacer / or both
I have a 2001 F-150 Supercrew with 99,000 miles thinking about a cold air intake , trottle body spacer or both has anyone put either or both on their truck and was it a positive or negitive? the intake is made by airmax and the spacer is made by Helix looking to improve horse power and gas mileage or if you have any other tips that would be wonderful i plan on doing a tune up this summer and changing the fuel filter next weekend thank you for any help

true that with the K&N. it says right in the vehicle owner's manual not to use oil-type air filters, but i've run them in every ford i've had. Don't notice much if any power gain, but it's just one less thing to maintain. I'd like to get the polished 77 series just cuz it looks cool, does it give you any extra power? The tritons already have a pretty effective CAI system on them from the factory. I noticed back when i was shopping superchargers for my V10 that the majority of companies utilized the factory system with their charger systems.
