Hey everybody I just started the February BS thread. Ill start. Was sure a nice change in the weather today. Finally got half way descent outside today. So are you guys enjoying this nice repprieve from the cold.
warmed up a bit here too. 27 felt pretty good today. Sure beats the below zero stuff. And my electric garage heater finally kicked off. I'm going to hate my electric bill when I get it. I don't think spring could come soon enough though.
Figure I'll try to help liven things a bit... what is this weather talk, ya think it's the midwest or something, all we ever talk about is the weather... sheesh...
So any project you boys are working on? I got more than I know what to do with, just have to figure out which one gets the attention first... Got a tractor split right now doing the clutch on it, and then a lot more little stuff to do, then my 86 needs a clutch so I can get back to using it, then the 92 needs a trans, since reverse is out, then I should split another tractor to fix the hydraulic leak on the clutch, then the main seal and sender leaks on the old 84 6.9, then tear down a couple trucks that have seen much better days, and fix the shop a bit to get the door hung properly, and rework the barn so we can get the tractors in since the shop burned down that we used to park them in... All this while I go to college fulltime, and work part time, deal with kids, wife, sister, father, and deal with my back issues. I think I will be busy for a few years on right now, let alone catching up on the maintenecae of the last 30 years on the farm...How's your day????

We have had some frequent 2-4 inch snows with blowing snow conditions, but nothing real significant. The snow doesn't melt, so it keeps piling up. Reminds me of last year when it did the same thing and then it all melted by March, but the we received a 14 inch snow and an 8 inch snow back to back. Hopefully, that won't happen this year.
I was down in NE over New Years and I was surprised at how much snow was around there at that time. Usually, snow doesnt hang around there to long. That's one thing I miss about NE during the winter.

You've got your hands full.
If you check my gallery, you'll see the project I'm working on. 77 F250 4x4 restoration. Right now I'm working on the interior and will have the windshield and rear window placed next week. It's been so cold here lately, that I couldn't get them installed. After that, I will start hanging the doors and putting them together. This spring, my motor should be complete and will put that in and start piecing together the front clip. 2.5 years in the making so far.
I have a 77 250 2wd waiting down the line. It ran, but not for long, I think it probably has carb issues, and tended to overheat pretty easy. When it ran though, it sounded good, just got hot easy. The brakes will have to be totally gone through, and the rear springs need replaced as well, but the body isn't too bad. It has the bed side tool box on it as well.
