I'm not surprised. Sheriff Joe thinks for himself. He doesn't beat to others opinions & crap. I really like his NO BS policies. We need more Law Enforcement people like him IMO. At least with him there is no doubt where he stands on issues. That is something I like about our Governor also.
IMO if a Republican is going to end up in the White House then Mitt would be better than McCain. McCain is to much a fence walker. I respect him as a Vietnam POW. He has to be one tough guy to go through what he did. My hat is off to him for that time in serving this Country. With Mitt being a Mormon he will be forced to not get too liberal by SLC.

Bill,
What I like about Janet is she at least will talk about why she wants to do something. Living most of my life in Nevada the politician's do whatever they want and the just ignore the people. They never go on the radio or TV except the (State of the State message) explain their position or why they feel it should be done a certain way. Everything is done behind closed doors. I don't many times agree with her, but at least she will go on PBS radio and talk about her ideas or feelings on issues. As does Mr Bennett from Prescott. I believe he is the majority leader in the State Senate. For us that is so refreshing after Nevada. One thing I do like about Janet is her strong Education policies. Again Nevada is anti education. The casinos don't want education because then you can't pay minimum wage to people with education. In fact the State tax shortfall in Nevada the biggest cut was education. That is why we came to Arizona my wife is a teacher, & Arizona is a pro education State.

We must be careful here with politics. I see everyone here but shawntxt is a club member so if it gets out of hand that is where it will get moved to.

I would hope we can be polite here. This is an Arizona news item. But if you have to move it I'll know where to find it. Thanks Bart.

I don't have the power to move it only a super moderator can move threads. I was just reminding. and letting everyone know where to look if it is gone.

you know shawntxt there is your point of view and my point of view. I know one is right ( MINE) and the other one might not be (yours) so you might have to see things "MY WAY"

cause I'm older and can't change.
