When I built my 54, I had to buy calipers which would work with the brackets I bought. I wound up buying some brackets which used Ford calipers which I could not make fit, so I bought some different ones which specified the 7?-78 camaro calipers. They work fine with the power assist and old F250 master cylinder.

I'm still with the stock axle. Have bought the bracket kit from abs brakes. The rest of the parts I'll buy from Napa or Shucks Auto parts. Living in Alaska they really get you on the freight.
I started this project without doing a lot of research and I would have been better off by going to a IFS. I'm in to deep to change now. Wife says to sell this and start a new project truck.
Thanks for all the help

bbussanman,
I don't know personnally for the 5 1/2 kits however, according to midfifty's catalog for the 5 on 5 1/2” kit use 73-93 Ford F-150 rotors & 71-76 GM Calipers. I would just get some for a GM truck try them on if they don't fit take them back; Auto Zone, and Advanced are great on return items...
