Royal Purple

Thinking of switching to Royal Purple 15W40 in the 6.0. On their website I can't seem to find if it is CI4+ rated. Does anyone know for sure??

Thanks in advance.

It's on their website. Try this http://www.royalpurple.com/motor-oil-pp.html

I am considering the same thing. It is CI4+ rated. Why are you changing and what have you been using? I contacted RP and they told me that their oil is a Group IV / Group V blend which got me interested. I would expect less shearing from this oil. Also - they are API certified.

I have been using Schaeffer's 15W40. Good oil but it is not really holding up any better in my truck than anything else. Biggest reason is I am tired of chasing down the local guy that sells it to order for me.

Anyone here using Redline Synthetic?
I have used it for years in other cars and trucks. Their ATF is great too.
