Rod pin removal

How do I remove the pin that holds the connecting rod to the piston? Can I tap them out or do they have to be pressed out?

1978 F-150 flareside. Primitive by todays standards but she was a jaw dropper back then. :-staun

They have to be pressed out, I would take it to a machine shop, the rod has to be heated to put a new piston and pin in it.
