It is a nice color. The picture is decieveing though. it has a ton of scratches and dents. It used to be one of our work trucks and it kind of got neglected. It will not stay that color forever though. I need a new driver side fender and the bed is terrible. Im probably going to make a flat bed for it. Then it will get a nice coat of rust oleum black cause of my lack of painting ability and lack of money. lol. Plus i have always liked black trucks.

It has barely any rust on it. no holes. Mostly cause we had diesel tank in the bed and a lot of different oil jugs. and you know how it goes it leaks. and metal doesn't rust with oil all over it. lol. But we had a rack on the bed and it started to tear the bed apart. plus it has about 20 dings and one good dent in the bed. Plus this is its good side. lol

Its a 97 250 with a 460 and an automatic 4.10 gears. And it didn't look like that when it was a work truck. lol. Its stock except for no cat and a cherry bomb for a muffler and a cai that i made. It also has traction bars that i built for it and a weight bar. its getting headers and duel exhaust this winter along with a dana 44 straight front axle. I use the truck for tug a truck in north west ohio. Thats why i put the boggers on it. its going to get dual 265/ 75 sport kings in the rear and singles in the front this year though. The boggers that are on it are 35 15.5 16.5's on stock suspension all the way around. they rub a little. lol. had to trim the bumper some. I could make it about half turn with them on though.

Any reason youre going with a Dana 44 and not a Dana 60?

It took me 3 weekends to get to the end of this thread. Mostly just a Friday night after work... but for the past 3 weeks. Nice trucks all! I'm new here and a new F-150 owner. Had a 91 Explorer and 61 Falcon prior.

Here's my new purchase; a 1988 F-150 Lariat XLT 4x4.

I am going with the dana 44 cause i don't have the money to spend on a 60. I can break about 3 44's before it would be better to have a 60. Plus i don't have that much power and in tug a truck you don't get all that power to the ground anyways. I wish i could go with a 60 but times are tough and money is scarce.
