wreed,
I'm also in the Houston area. I have owned both the Rhino and Line-X and would recommend the Rhino, unless you are using it for some serious contractor type work. My thought:
The Line-X is like damn ice. Everything will slide around literally like ice unless it is secured HARD. The Rhino is a bit thicker and has some give to it, somewhat like a thick rubber pad. Stuff in the bed will not slide around much with the Rhino. If the Rhino is abused, and I mean slamming hard, sharp objects in the bed, you can get some small chips in the lining layer. After 7 years of Rhino on my 97 F150 I had about 3 small chips about the size of pencil eraser.
I had my first Line-X in an F250 then most recenly in an 04 F150 that I have since sold. I did not like the Line-X due to the crazy slipperness of anything put in the back.
My next truck liner will be a Rhino.

I know that they don't show it on their sight but I could have sworn that the Line-X place off of 290 on the way to Hempsted was still there a few weeks ago. I may be wrong but I thought that I saw it. It is a stand alone building on the left on the way out. I belive that they sell ATV's as well. If you are out that way you may want to look.

Some people want to slide things across a bedliner others do not. If you do not want things to slide around on LINE-X, you need to tell the dealer to apply a heavy texture.
The LINE-X dealer in Houston lost his franchise and I'm glad. My shop had to strip one of his bedliners and reapply LINE-X under warranty. He was NOT a good applicator.
Chances are someone will grab the Houston LINE-X franchise opportunity pretty soon.
