Just got this from ford for a recall on the fuel injector has any one having problems. My truck did have some starting problems one time nothing lately.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

 

i recieved a letter today from ford and telling me that they are extending the warranty for my fuel injectors for 11 years total or 120,000 miles w/c ever comes first..it suck's only that parts,,,

 

I got the same thing, If ford admits there is a problem and is evidently taking responsibility, i don't see where it is a big deal, just face the problem when it comes if it ever does.

 

is this for the 5.4 only or the 4.6 as well?

 

i got the same letter and i asked them about it at the dealship ..and they said would cover it only the injecter that bad and only if u have that paper...and they will cover the cats if they get clogged due to the injector going bad
