Front Axle

I know this has been talked about before, but im lazy and dont feel like searching for the forums.

Whats everyones thoughts on switching out our front axle for a straight axle, like off a 350?

Just looking for some comments and maybe some prices.

the axle is the hardest part, the best i could do was 1200 for just the axle. but after that all you need is the steering components and the trac bar and bracket, its direct bolt in

if you find a donor truck get every part from it. including the trac bar bracket under the oil pan. you will like the dana 60. get the drive line too.

there was a Bronco for sale in the classifieds here lately that had a D60 under it. It had a plow and a good bit of rust but it was cheap- might look there for it
