Works well for quick spoolup.
Install or not has more to do with your intent.
If not looking to go with inj's anytime soon is a good upgrade.
Possible intercooler install, then without a doubt install it.

I like mine. Turbo lag is non existent even with my intercooler. Mine came on the truck when I got it so I can't compare the two. But I am going with bigger injectors soon so I am actually looking to get rid of mine.

its simply a smaller exhaust housing for our turbo's. Their is the 1.0 and the .84 A/R...the later being the smallest. The smaller the housing the quicker the turbo will spool up, but in the high rpms can cause too much back pressure. I love my .84 housing in the 96. Works very well with the intercooler and stock injectors. In the 94 the 1.0 works well but no intercooler their.

So what does the A/R mean? You'll have to forgive my diesel stupidity

I'm no genius...I believe it stands for Aspect Ratio. You'll need a math wizard to explain it further. It just relates to the size of housing.

Is that Banks housing shown a 1.00 or 0.84? I have one but am not sure which it is. It does work w/ stock inj though.
