Does anyone have a brake diagram for replacing the front disc brakes on a 2005 F350 SD? I am replacing the brakes have done tons of cars/trucks, Chilton is not correct and just want to get this one right.....because its mine.

if you have done brakes before you don't need a diagram, disc brakes are easy. If you don't feel confident then don't try it, expensive truck to mess up.

I've changed hundreds of breaks in my life, thats how I payed for college. The reason I needed a diagram is to see if there is a wear indicator on this truck. The kit I purchased didn't include the indicators. This is my wifes truck and I like to have all the indicators working........

go to your local dealer parts counter and ask to see a set of pads for your truck, then you can see what it should be looking like stock

 

There is no wear indicator on Super Duty brake pads. The brakes usually last for quite a while, depending on driving habits and conditions. Just be sure to inspect them regularly.

 

I've never seen wear indicators on the brake pads on any of my SDs.
