Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan.... *complaint...*
Due to "flooding"... the roads to the u-pull it on 110th and Foster are closed... which sucks... cuz thats the bone yard that i was going to get my head light conversion at.... which means not only does that mean that there's alot of dangerous chemicals and whatnot floating in a huge lake of rainwater, car chemicals, and raw sewage... but i can't get my headlight swap till it "dry's" up. lol
i guess mother nature is finaly getting back at us for abusing her?

None of my Aeros have leaked water to the inside; all have had mold problems though, and the '89 had the press-cardboard rear interiour panels warp and the vinyl delaminate, esp above the large rear side windows.
I used to live at 88th & Foster, I used to walk to the U-Pull-It on 111th! That chain has really gone downhill in the past ten years: no master listing of all yards' inventory in the lobby anymore.
You could drive out to the Tigard (Sherwood) yard, which since the remodel isn't always underwater in winter anymore. It used to be a decent yard. And the one in Damascus/Boring was a very good yard and gets less foot traffic, better graded, etc.
I-5 is completely closed between you & me now, and will be for a couple more days! The official detour is eastern Washington (ie about 450 miles of detour).
When I-5/Centralia flooded in '96 and I had to detour, I used Hwy 12 and it was an extra three hours [shrug].
Good thing I don't have to get to Portland this week.

Yea I like the one out in Damascus/Boring better than the the U-pull-it on Foster. alot less people go out there. And it is on my way home to Central Oregon, when I'm over visting my Son there in Portland. It is Way to wet for me over there in the Valley, I like the snow and the cold better.

While car-part.com looks nice, and is usually useful, the database is notoriously out-of-date. One of my users called something like nine JYs to find a part each listed as available for sale: none actually had the part.
(car-part.com doesn't list the wheel covers for Aeros with factory alloy wheels, drat)
Additionally, car-part does not seem to cover U-Pull-It type yards, because most do not keep track of their inventory, and U-Pull-It yards are invariably the cheapest if you have the time.
