Hey im looking at getting a steel set of wheels for the winter....its HERE!!
Will 16" clear my brakes on my 2005 F350?
Anybody run 16's?

 

I think i read somewhere on here that ford went to the 17 in wheels in 05 b/c the 16in wheels wouldnt clear the brakes.

 

I am almost positive that the minimum wheel size on the 05' and up model years is 17". Good luck, and winter deffinetely is here.

 

Yep, minimum wheel size on the '05 and up is 17", due to the larger double-piston caliopers on front. Beware that one person on the boards bought 17" wheels that were specified to fit the '05 and up, but they did not clear the front calipers.

 

With the 17" wheel option, there is a 1/4" clearance between the wheel and brake.
