yeah, the super duty pattern is metric, but i think you have bigger problems than bolt pattern size. if i remember right 16.5'' rims won't fit over the 05 and up super duties brakes.
best answer here is find a buddy with a 99-04 super duty with 16.5'' rims and try to see if one of his rims and tires will fit before you go off ordering a set of 16.5'' metric rims.

wait wait wait...
SD bolt pattern ('98-11) is 8x170mm. Before that the bolt pattern was 8x6.5".
If its a 99-04 the 16.5 rims will fit. If its an 05-up they will not over the brakes. Im not sure of the availability of 16.5 rims for the metric bolt pattern in anything other than steelies though.

How do I get 16.5 inch rims on my 05 Ford F250?
I want 16.5 rims on my 2005 Ford F250. I realize that the brakes are big and only allow the use of 17 or bigger rims. Is there any mods I can do this with or anyway around this? Thanx very much<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

My BFG's are 16.5's and are on Weld Wheels on my '03.
I've seen a guy out towards Apple Valley area (I think) who was selling the mil surplus hummer tires. Anyone know how they do in the snow? For about $400 a set of 4, I'd be willing to test them out over the winter. It's actually snowing here today. Started this morning. Hopefully it's a quick storm. I'm not ready for this cr*p yet. lol.

about as good as an at....
there ok. but nothing too special...
i was able to get around in 5" of snow in 2wd... i didn't have much weight in the bed, but it was super easy to lose traction and lose momentum. 4wd i did decent as well...
Then again, its a hard compound tire and there not known for doiing good in snow...
