If you keep driving, after another 1k miles you get to 41k, after another 1k miles you get to 42k.

I like these easy questions!

i'm sure he is talking about 40k mod. like the 10k mod???? i know for a fact that these trucks will NOT handle a 40k resistor!!! LoL... mine doesn't like it when i hook the 22k and 5.6k both inline.

this would be another version of the 10k mods, i have developed (in my opinion) a better way to turn up the oil pressure to your injectors by hooking a resistor inline with the pcm signal wire for ICP. he is trying to hook 40,000 ohms inline when i am using 14,700 ohms, and some guys are already as high as 22,000 but with some associated oil issues

i use 22,000 with no oil issues. it's when i crank it up a bit more when i start having check engine lights and fault codes. i know it runs like crap when i hit the CEL!! LoL

I just made up a resistor "selector" out of a 1.99 fuse box from Kragen that i soldered the resistors into. it alllows me to adjust from 10k to 15.6l to 22k by just moving the blade connectors over. (picture coming later) anyway I ran it on the 22k mod right away (because I have no self control). It ran fine. no CEL. idle went upmaybe 50 rpm but idles good. it took a few miles for the computer to learn it i think but definitely a nice little increase in power. I may try another 5.6k just to see what happens but i tow a toyhauler a lot so i will be running it at the lower levels most of the time. im just curious to see what happens. more on that soon.

I like the idea of the fuse panel for switching the settings

My digital camera takes a bad close-up pic but I'll give it a shot.

ok here it is. not pretty by any means but i was going for function over form.
The 1.99 fuse box from Kragen. soldered my Radio Shack resistors into them so i can select the level of resistance depending on which blades I plug into. I cut my Grn/blue stripe wire, extended it with some blue wire and terminated it with spade connectors.

Plug the spade connectors into the top left 2 and its 15.6K
Plug the spade connectors into the top right 2 and its 22K
bottom left is 10K
bottom right is stock.

it will be interesting to see how the "10k mod" evolves as people spend some quality time making one thats nice looking as well as nice functioning and more convenient.
