What are the differences between

1997 Canadian and US built F350 PSD?

None that I am aware of if they are both built for sale in the US. If its a canadian model it may have a different speedometer head to have KM as the primary reading but not even sure about that. oh and the canadian model may have day time running lamps as well.

hey i know a guy who had a powerstroke who was in the service stationed up in alaska. he said stock it had a box in the floorboard to control idle and fuel pressure. he said he could crank dat up and run with and outrun chipped trucks. any ideas?

I am pretty sure that my 96 was built is canadian (lots of canadian writing on the tags and "made in canada" parts on her)..... I will look for a box in the floorboard tomorrow

He is full of it! There is a Aux idle control that can idle up but it can't do a thing for performance or fuel pressure.

I had a 93 f150 Canada model and it had all of that.

raising fuel pressure wouldnt do that much... Pulse width is still the biggest factor...
