One thing to remember when shopping for batteries is the fact that they are the heart of the electrical system. With that said, Shop for the best you can get. Look at CCA and reserve power. Get batteries with at least 750 cca and 150 min. of reserve and things will be ok. Remember you get what you pay for, especially when shopping for batteries. Good luck!

we always put a set of BXT-65 850's motorcraft. never a 650!!! 750's were stock and cannot even get them through motorcraft-only 850's. I never tried and optima, not sure you really need to spend the extra $$ unless you run upside down or go off roading and need the extra vibration protection.
I was told there are really only 3 battery manufactors for cars and motorcycles but many labels and colors. Do not buy the Neverstarts from walfart, seen alot of those dead shortly after replacement.

After I bought my F350 a couple of months ago, I had Autozone check the batteries and they said it should be fine for winter. His advice for me was that if I ever have battery problems, plan to just change both out.
