Wink 23585R16E Tires???

I am in the market for new tires.
I don't nessessarily want to buy the cheapest tire out there, but not the most expensive either.
I have had good luck in the past with the BF Goodrich commercial TA (from Sam's) on my F150s, and now I've seen the Uniroyal Liberator A/T @ WalMart, these are $115-$119 per tire anyone have any opinions of either or should I go to something a little better.
Going on a '99 F350 2wd dually, Thanks!

I have a friend that has the liberators in a 225/70-16 and they sucked. He didn't get good mileage out of them at all and still had about 50% tread left when the tread started separating so bad that the noise/vibration was unbearable. This is on an 89 F150.

Have replaced a few sets of them for customers. Not really worth it. Get a better tire, pay a little more for it, be much happier down the line.

I see you have a 4X4, the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo is a very good all-around E-rated tire that wears extremely well. Michelin LTX A/T 2 is a good second choice.

Give a look at the Michelin XPS Rib tire (same as the traction tire in construction, but a highway tread). These are commercial tires and generally must be ordered (Costco orders them). Slightly more expensive than Michelin LTX tires, but I have run both (on my dually) and the XPS Rib will outwear the LTX tires. Also they are a top-rated tire at Tirerack:

It is not initial cost on tires...it is cost per mile driven that determines if a tire is inexpensive or expensive. Further, knowing I have three steel belts, reinforced steel bead, a tire designed for recapping, and a low-rolling resistance case and tread design, make it worth the extra money to me. Value can not be measured by cost alone. This tire is pricey in initial cost...that I will concede.

I know well the cost per miles on tires and all other aspects of truckng having bought hundreds of thousand in dollars worth and was never really that impressed with the michelin tires I've had
I would doubt they would last a lot longer than what I have run other than firestone and uniroyal although the uniroyal on my drive axle have 60k+mi @ $115 each
I did consider michelin for the last sreerig tires but no place i went had the tread desighn I wanted, guess no body stocks the tire you mentioned
it does have the tread design for these trucks which is hard to find
