10 inch lift questions

hopefully someone can help me.i have a 6 inch superlift.when installed i had to take out my stock taller blocks to make it level.i am thinking of putting the 2 inch taller blocks back in the rear and putting 3 or 4.5 inch hangers in the front with a lower uadjustable drag link.the front is about an inch lower right now from sag.is this a good idea or bad?

If you build it properly (crossover steering, relocated adj. trac bar, new shocks etc..).

Using a hanger and shackle with the 6" springs is a good way to go about it since it allows you to keep a smaller spring for better ride.

At that height...definitely, IMO.

Without it you are at a much increased risk of shearing the sector shaft on the steering box.......which causes complete loss of any steering control.

Possibly,

You could sell your current 6" complete to someone and buy the DR 10.5".

You could list it for sale on this site and the various others that have For Sale forums.....people are always looking for lifts, especially if the price is right.

Now, if you wanted to stick to a 8-9" lift you could get away without the crossover steering.

I have a 8.5" lift and 38/15.50R20s.....but I run crossover steering anyway:
