i ordered the stuff to make my own intake today. i ordered the 6637 filter from napa and the SD intake boot from ford. i think ill just go to a muffler shop for a pipe i dont need stainless or aluminum, im just gonna paint it black anywho. i should have enough clamps and other misc items on hand. anything im leaving out?
you dont need a sd intake hose. but if you want it then that is fine here is a pic of my intake. and you can get the filters from fleetfilter.com for under $20.00. the clamp you can get from napa.
the clamp i bought is to the right of the orange rtv.
ouch the price has gone up. still cheaper than napa though which is 45+ for me here. they also used to have cheap fuel filters last time i checked. i will look at those also.
