Diesel Fuel in the Antifreeze

I would like to know what in world happen I have a friend that has diesel fuel in the antifreeze or 2003 POWER STROKE. Cracked head?

Are you sure its diesel and not oil? Is this a 7.3 or a 6.0

It's 7.3 power stroke. It's appears to be diesel I don't know how to be positive other than put oil in the anti freeze and put diesel in it to see the difference.

You should be able to tell if it's fuel by the smell.

You should be able to take a sample to either your dealer or a analytical company in your area and have it tested if you can't figure it out.

I have the same problem with my 2001, 7.3L powerstroke diesel. It is definately diesel fuel in the antifreeze. Can anyone tell me what is going on?

like mentioned above, i think thats the injector cup.

i have the same problem does anyone know of a right up on how to fix the injector cup?

Yeah it is a cup, i was told you could do a pressure test with injectors out to see which one it is, but i dont know how to pressure test

You need to remove the injectors & pressurize the cooling system

I have a small hand pump that replace's the rad cap,, puts 15-18 lbs of pressure in the system .The leak should be obvious..You can use regulated air pressure , butyou have to be very carefull not to over do it.....15 lbs is usually plenty....
