Code reader/scanner question
Hey guys. I recently bought a 2006 Explorer XLT with a 4.6-V8 and 6 speed. (6R60, I think?)
It is displaying the Service (wrench), Traction control, and ABS lights. I've read up on the threads here involving those so I won't go into it here.
I was wondering if any of you have used the iCarsoft i920 handheld scanners? If so, do they work very well or are they junk?
I have another scanner I've used for many years but it only reads engine codes. I was hoping to get the error codes on the drive train before trying to repair the ABS/Traction control problem.
Thanks for any input.

That looks pretty cool. Unfortunately, I have an iPhone. (Employer provided, so I'm not complaining)
I looked up the ELM327, and it looks like it's only for Androids. I'm going to look into more of the computer based options, but I'd really like to have a handheld scanner I can keep in the tool chest.

I don't have any experience with the iCarsoft units, but for the price and listed coverage, that would seem to be a pretty good deal.
For Ford specifically, that iCarsoft unit has pretty much the same coverage as my much more expensive Autel DS708. The DS708 is bi-directional, but it doesn't sound like that is much of a benefit for your purposes.
If you do go with the iCarsoft unit I'd be interested to hear your first impressions of it.
