1990 4x4 ball joints
hey everybody!! I have a 1990 ford f150 4x4 with a 5.0 engine. I'm currently trying to replace the ball joints on it. I removed the wheels and the rotor assembly. I also have the outer tie rods removed. I can't for the life of me figure out how to remove the ball joints. I have a manual but it is pretty vauge on the subject. I would like some help please. Thank you.

You need a ball joint press and or a picklefork and a BFH.
If you haven't done so already remove the inner bearing race thats bolted to the face of the hub.
Then remove the nuts on top of both ball joints, and then press the stems of the joints out of suspension TTB arm. This will remove the hub with the base of the 2 ball joints in it. You then have to remove a C clip and press the ball joints out of the hub.
