That's gonna be one loooooow truck. I don't know if I like the angle cuts on the frame, but I'd be willing to bet you won't be putting anything in the bed, so that's not much of a concern.
With the rear mounted cell on my truck, it rides just low enough so that it doesn't look like a slant-nose 911, but it's not a body scraper.
Quick question I am a rookie welder but can make a good beed not pretty but good with a flux wire mig welder would you use a flux wire to weld in the c-notch and box the frame? I have the same kit you have to flip the axle.
Yeah I did buy the c notch kit The progress is posted in my gallery. Also my nephew just asked me the same question on the welding. My answer to him and everyone else is if you can afford to buy the argon CO2 mix I think it yields slightly better results. Thanks everyone.
Nice! I plan to use your gallery to help guide me thru lowering my rear. Thanks for posting those. Are those the stock rear leaf springs with some leafs removed or is that leaf springs from some other vehicle.
Looks beautiful, rat...you probably already thought of this, but some have noted that the frame isn't what hits first, it's the center "pumpkin" on the bed boards. Are you going with a stock type bed? May have to make a hump or something...
