1998 Expedition - Front Brakes Smoking
At the end of a three mile hill, the front brakes (both front shoes) on my 1998 Expedition were smoking. No smoke from the rear brakes.
I took it to a local repair shop the next day.
The repair shop found nothing wrong with the calibers, master brake cylinder, or anything. The rotors and pads are less then 6 months old.
I had the shop bleed and replace all the brake fluid hoping that the cause was just air in the hydraulic fluid....hoping that will cure the problem.
But, I'm not convinced this problem is fixed. Any words of wisdom are welcome.
