Anyone have a photo of a era correct cab/clearance light?

I think my '48 F-5 need more visibility, what does the correct cab light look like? Three or five?
I'm thinking of putting "markers" on the door-mounted rear view mirror posts too. Was this done in '48?
Thanks

Reamer,
Here is the only picture I could find of an old '53 cab I had a few years back. It had three marker lights across the top. I believe it was an F-600. The lenses are glass and the top cover is chrome. The base is sheet metal and there is a rubber gasket that goes between the cover and the roof.

Unfortunately, this is the only pic I can find of the lights. I can take some of the parts if you'd like.
Good Luck,

The lights in the pic that Kent posted are still available and can be found at most parts stores, I know NAPA has them. I think they are manufactured by Grote;

I had bought a set of them years ago with intentions of putting them on my 69 F-250 Camper Special but never got around to it and ended up getting rid of the truck. We used to call them "cowboy lights"

Thats a beautiful truck reamer!!!

Unfortunately I'm out of state, or else I'd put up a picture of the ones I'm going to use on my F-3. The brand name is ARROW 39, I've gotten my hands on a couple sets over the past few years, one set that had been mounted on a 49 F-6 (parted out by bobj49f2). They look very similar, if not identical to the ones in the pic fatfords posted. Arrow made them for quite a few years, with both glass lenses in the older ones, and plastic in the newer ones. I'm planning on using a set of 5 on my truck.

All of the trucks down here from that era that I have found with the scalloped lights and glass lenses had only two of them. I personally like five so thats what I went with. I have seen the larger trucks with or without them was that a dealer option? I assumed a truck that size would have to have them like nowadays, does anyone know? And why did they use only two. I have noticed that all the manufacturees usewd two until the sixties some time.
