Oddest truck
I like odd trucks, the kind that were custom made or altered when new or close to new, so it could be used for a specific purpose. Like ice cream trucks or double cabbed trucks used by the Forestry Department.
I would like to know who has truck oddities or one of kind trucks. My main widow of interest are the Bonus Built years, 1948-52 but all the years covered in this forum are interesting. If you have an odd truck please post some pictures.

Well, these aren't mine, but they are odd -- very odd!
First up, is a "barrage balloon launcher" from Britain, WWII, built using a Ford chassis. Dick/4TL8Ford found it on eBay and posted it on the Flathead site. I have wanted one ever since, because it has that "punky" in-your-face look, but...
Second is the granddaddy of all RV's the Hunt Housecar of '37. Again built on a Ford truck chassis.
Last is a '37 COE Fire Crew truck, I think I got the pic off FTE somewhere along the way...

I can't add attachments, but here's a link to some photos of a truck here in Austin. It resides down the street from a friend of mine.

See the Bottom line under each pix? "IMG code"
Copy that and paste it here on the forum page. Nothing else to do.
If you post more than one pix. Hit your "Enter" key on your keyboard twice between each pix. This will put a space between each pix and display better on the forum page.

I have pictures of another 4 door F1 (51/52) sitting in a salvage yard somewhere in New Mexico or Arizona. It's also yellow, but faded. However, I can't find the pictures.
Here's one more.
Above images I found on the internet some time ago.
This one was sent to me by a friend. He was after this 51 M-H Ranger in the Seattle area, but the leads went cold.
Lastly, I looked at this one myself a few months ago. I could have bought for $200-300 and didn't. The more I look through the additional pictures of it, I should have bought it. Time to dig into the email archive.
This is a catering truck and was used in the Chico area. I actually have a picture of another one like it that I found in a Ford published magazine of the same era.
