90 Bronco Gas Tank

Is the 32 gallon gas tank from a 90 Bronco a direct swap to my 95 single tank F150? I assume I would have to swap the fuel pumps too...

According to to my books they are same . The sender/pump is different according to parts # . And I put a truck one in once and would run out of gas (not long enough) at about 22 gallons > I ussually just swap whole tank but haven't done it in while.

I did get a new toy Chris
05 F250 4x4 5.4 9800 miles guy hit something with cab pushed passenger side back about 2" . I got $10000 in it with all parts and good title. Maybe I'll make some $$ on it.

Chris you ARE gonna have to get a sending unit and the fuel pump from Ford. Aftermarket parts don't have the complete setup that you will need, trust me I went down that road , but in the end it is worth it,Try to get the skid plate and brackets from a bronco too. make sure the sending unit / pump is for a 95 bronco when you get it

Mike, what would be missing from an aftermarket setup? As long as Chris gets the fuel pump and sending unit (the sending unit is optional ) I can't see what else is missing?

Educate me.

I ordered a sending unit and tack/ straps from LMC , I thought i had it all covered but the part the sending unit screws to is too short, only ford sells the whole assembly.

if you look number 9 is the one you need , but you need the whole thing like number 6, had to buy it from Ford, look long and hard for it online , but no luck

I'm lucky to live in rust belt I just buy everything used and get a new tank. I alway reuse pumps. If I have to take tank out again it lets me spray oil under it.

I have several a couple of those it is a easy swap, but I get the compleat tank at the junk yard you need the brackets and the skid plat. down here we dont have any problems with rust, and you can get every thing for about 30 bucks. I buy one every time I see it and usually have a couple setting here looking for trucks
