Yes I have the Off Road 4X4 but I have the Continental Hwy tires.

They're just more of an off-road tire. The front two remain A/Ts and the rears are replaced with the traction ones. From what I've heard here and at the dealership the A/T's are better for the ride quality. Tractions can make the back end seem a little loose on groved pavement at highway speeds.

Order code "THB"
"225/70Rx19.5F BSW Max Traction – (4x4 only) – (incl. 4 traction
tires on the rear & 2 traction tires on the front. Not recommended
for over the road applications; could incur irregular front tire wear
and/or NVH. Spare is traction tire)"
The A/S tires were standard equipment and your truck had the "THB" option which changed the tires to a more agressisve traction type tire.
Hope this helps

I was reading from the Ford build website.
Quote: 225/70Rx19.5G BSW Traction Tires include four traction tires on the rear and two All-Season tires on the front. Spare is BSW All-Season.
But where you got your information must have been where I read that they are not recommended for on-road use.

So either one of us could be correct as far as the front tires go. Best thing for jam105 to do is look at his tires and see if the fronts and rears are the same.

The F250/F350 SRW come with 17, 18 or 20-inch wheels & tires, Load range "D" or "E" depending on the packaged ordered.
The F350 DRW comes with 17-inch wheels & tires Load range "E" only.
Hope this helps

Both the same
Continental HDR 225/70R 19.5. Regroovable (what ever that means)
Y'all have me concerned with the statement "not recommended for on-road use"

Most likely the comment about recommended for off-road use is just to cover their backs incase something does arise about the handling difficulty of the traction tires.
You just have to realize that the tires for the 450s are commercial tires that are built with durabulity in mind. While the tires avaliable for 350s and under are light truck tires designed for durability as well as rider comfort.
