Just an FYI becareful relying on the mileage to empty readout on the information screen. It is not that accurate, and if you run your diesel out of fuel, it can get very expensive in a hurry. Fuel pumps and injectors are not cheap and the quickest way to ruin them is to run low on fuel and starve the injectors.

 

Yep, I know about not letting it run out. I don't rely on the computer, just had a flat tire today and after getting that all taken care of I forgot to pay attention to the fuel gauge and thats where it ended up by the time I could fill up.

But thought I would share how much it took.

 

I just put nearly 32 gallons on my Ford Expedition 2000.
I was upset because I never put that many gallons and I was being suspicious the gas pump was rigged.
After reading some comments, I now agree it can take 32 on a29 fuel tank for a 2000 fordExpedition 5.4

 

my truck has a long bed and from what I have read it says that it has a 38 gallon tank but after looking under the hood at the EPA sticker it says that it is rated up to 44 gallons
