Hey did you guys here that the MLB may allow Hank Aarons negro league home runs in the record? If they do that ther is no way bonds will ever touch that record.A-rod maybe but no way on bonds.

I hadn't heard that about MLB and Aaron...don't think it could happen though, or they'ed have to do the same for all the Negro League ball players.
One thing that always get's me about Bonds and 'roids, is no one ever talks about how many extra AB's Ruth got back in the day...if you believe the movie that Jogn Goodman played Ruth, the last year or two of Ruths Career, a "designated runner" was used for Ruth...i/e he'd walk or get a hit/etc...then they'ed put in a runner for him and he'd sit on the bench till his next AB...if it's true...how many extra HR's did he get like that?
Anyway, sorry BB for hi-jacking your thread...but it does follow along the line of your screen name
And welcome back, I forgot to mention that earlier.

More of the going on
I spent about two hours this morning searching about Hank Aaron and his Negro League stats, only thing I could find was his average and som other info...nothing about how many HR's he hit.
Seems he only played about 1/2 a year in the NeL's, then was picked up.
Seems that most NeL seasons were between 60 to 80 games...so say he played 40-50 games...he probably could not have hit too many...there's mention in some of the Bio's about him coming up as a shortstop, and wasn't known as a power hitter...but that's about all I could gather...get this, seems when he came up, he used a "crosshanded" batting grip..i/e left hand above the right hand...weird...but looks like someone eventually set him straight, huh?
