1954 F-600 Fuel Sending Unit

Can someone let me know if an F-600 fuel sending unit is the same as the F100. Thank you very much for your help in advance!

It depends if the sending units are the originals. Ford replaced ALL the 6 volt senders (car & truck) from 1940 thru 1955 with one part number in 1955 = B5AF-9275-A. This sending unit did not come with the arm and float, it was transfered from the old to the new. The F1/100 thru F3/350 original senders were: 21C-9275-B. The F4 and larger trucks except cabovers were: FAC-9275-B.

So, if the senders are original, they won't interchange. However, while B5AF-9275-A is obsolete, the ORIGINAL 1940 sender (01A-9275) has been reproduced, and with it, your original arm and float can be transfered over.
