fuel tank sender for 67 F-600

I have a 1967 F-600 with chassis mounted fuel tank. I am looking for a fuel tank sending unit. Does anyone know of a parts vendor that deals in trucks like this. I tried NAPA etc already. I have a Ford parts diagram for it, but it only shows reference numbers not Ford part numbers.

Thanks in advance for your help

These tanks and the sending units are a real b!tch to look up!

Look on the sending unit for a stamped ID number, post what it is.

Be aware that the float is available by itself.

Pic: Does it look like this?

If the dash fuel gauge reads empty...the float is made of two pieces of brass soldered together. Solder breaks down, gas seeps in, float settles to the bottom of the tank.

Take the sending unit out, remove the float and shake it to hear if gas is sloshing around inside.

Float is available from Ford, Carpenter has a one piece float that'll never leak for about 5 bucks.

I did not find on number on the top side of the unit. Would it be on the inside? I have not taken it out yet.

ID number stamped on the top of the sender.

Pic: Look at the applications for B8T-9275-A & D3TZ-9275-E (D3TZ-9275-E replaced B8T-9275-A).

Based on your 1967 F600, I would assume this is the correct sending unit.

D3TZ-9275-E =

GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has 1 = 800-543-4959.

KLIMESH MOTOR SALES in Calmar IA has 1 = 563-562-3241.

NOS PARTS LTD in Waxahachie TX has 13 = 972-937-2201.

CARPENTER NOS OBSOLETE PARTS in Concord NC has 64 = 800-476-9653.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
B8T-9275-A =

GREEN SALES CO. has 4.

CARPENTER NOS OBSOLETE PARTS has 7.
