I dont have stacks but if you got a longbed and depending on the width of the toolbox + the amount of bedspace the stacks take up you might be able to get away with a Extang RT tonno. I have a Shortbed with a toolbox and roll top bed cover.......I can measure the total length of the cover if that would help. let me know what you kneed to know.

i have short bed so my stacks are 7" and tool box is 21" on average so i would have to cut the cover by +/- 28", but my question is can you look on your cover where it attaches to the box and see if its possible to redo it and make it shorter ?
thanks for all the help

Pete We cut a "Roll N Lock" once to fit on a truck with a tool box, came out looking pretty good, all we needed was a hacksaw and trimed to side bars to fit everything else was left alone.

Extang actually doesnt have the cover mount to the toolbox, their are side rails that clamp to the lip on the top\inside edge of the bed( Right and left sides). So the rails would have to be cut shorter, plus the actual cover......um and then you would have to place the latching mechanisms on the rail's to allow you to secure the cover. It sounds like alot of work, You might try contacting Extang and asking if they will cut a tonno cover too your exact lenght you need otherwise I think Truxedo will do custom lengths too. I would not risk makeing any modifications to these covers cause then you loose your warrenty on the cover fabric and parts.

All we did was cut the rails the cover rolls up in a box that can be sealed to the toolbox with foam tape or RTV. The cover that isn't used stays rolled up in the box. Download the brochure from their site and it has some close up pictures http://www.rollnlock.com/Pages/PrimaryBrochure.pdf

Good morning,
Jvoigt is right in that if you modify a cover, you lose the warranty and won't be able to receive any service and support on the modification. Some truck owners have had success in modifying a cover, as you can see in the posts, but again you run the risk of spending the money, but not being able to return the cover if it doesn't work out. My only suggestion would be to purchase a cover that is already made for a toolbox. The cover is then at least cut to the proper length of the toolbox & bed.
Hope this helps you make a decision. If you have questions on purchasing an Agri-Cover Toolbox Edition Roll-Up Cover please visit www.agricover.com or call 800-233-4655 for more information on our products.
Have a great day!

I'm curious about how this will work out for you, but then got to thinking:

1. You've got a shortbed
2. you've already lost 21" of depth due to the toolbox.
3. You may have lost another 7" due to your stacks
4. A rollup cover would take another 12" or more from your bed.

If all the above are true, then you'll have about as much space left as an H2t....

I've got an UnderCover hard tonneau cover and LOVE it. I don't know if they make custom ones but I use my bed too much to give up that much, especially on a shortbed (mine is a shorty too)

I did the math, and you would only have 3-3.5" of space in the bed once you put the cover on. Do you want that?

Bed pica

I'll get some this afternoon (open & closed for ya!) so you can see it. It was AWESOME for snowboarding!! 4 people in the truck, boards, skis, boots, etc. in the bed SECURELY LOCKED UP AND OUT OF SIGHT!!!

I drove home to MD from CO for xmas and had hundreds of dollars of beer in the bed! it stayed nice & chilled back there too with them winter temps!! I love that thing, and it only weighs about 60lbs so it's super easy for 2 people to put on & off - 1 person CAN do it, it's just not as easy
