Lift Kit 2-3"

Looking for a 2 - 3 inch lift. I know that Skyjacker has a 2" lift. Anybody got any experience with this lift or know if any other options?

Pic's please if you got'em

Thanks in advance.

most people here swear by the donahoe kits. I personally have no experience with either one but Im sure someone will chime in shortly.

Well I just pulled the trigger on the Donahoe 2.5 leveling kit for the 08'. They will be adding springs to the front and the F350 block to the back. When it's all said and done the truck should have about a .5" rake. Hopefully the ride will be better and more aesthetically pleasing.

congrats. Nice that you went with the .5 rake. Thats exactly what Id do. Is that DR that said theyll be adding a 350block?
Are you sticking with the original shocks? Id really like to know the ride difference between stock vs stock shocks with leveling kit.
Post some pics when you get done, I bet its gonna look tough.

No my local shop help put the configuration together. They said that I will not need to replace the original shocks. Man I hope this looks good and more importantly I hope that it doesn't look "nose high"

I think it'll look really good. Are you sticking with the stock tires or switching to meats?
I dont think youll have that "nose high" Cali look. The rake is just about perfect at .5
You can check out some pics of an 08 with the leveling kit and stock tires at http://www.trucktoyzperformance.com/...p?imageid=5817 if you havent already. They have about 4-5 08 with different lift configurations.

We typically run 4" rear blocks on F250s which results in a level stance. This is required in order to be able to run the DR Signature Series rear shocks. F350s may retain their stock rear blocks and still appear level and run the DR shocks. Here are a few examples:

I would recommend the DR shocks, the ride and handling was head and shoulders above the stock (FX4) shocks that were on my 06.
