The worse thing about black, it shows all the flaws.

Mine is a driver. I know it is not going to be perfect. I will redo it again in the middle of summer after the paint cures.

Mine will be a driver too,but that is the good thing about paint-jobs----you can always re-do them.I am sure that you did a great job.IF there is a flaw--fix it later and no problem.Alittle sanding and masking and spraying will break the boring times of driving and waxing and car-shows--hahahah!!!!I am sure it looks great.Put a pic on and show us.BILL

I'm going to paint my F-4 with tractor restoration paint from the local farm supply place. Their M-F tractor paint is a close match to color of my F-2. I can get the complete setup;paint, thinner and hardener for $70, the paint on my F-2 costs $200+ for a gallon plus all the other stuff. I figure this way, the tractor paint is a lot better than the original paint applied to the truck at the factory so it should last for at least twice as long as the factory finish and once painted, my truck won't be subjected to the same abuse as it was the first 50 years of it's life.

Can you use a roller with that paint?

I painted it this afternoon. I snuck out for a few hours. I will have to redo a few runs, but overall not too bad. I have to put some more lights up, it was very hard to see. I have the lights just need to position them better. I also am going to buy some at harbor freight. One for each side of the truck. I will definitely be able to see better. I will get the pic tomorrow. I ran out of time. Busy night at restaurant.

Kevin and Bob,

how do you make your little trucks go in your signature? They are really cool!
