That F1 is a very nice truck and hasn't been butchered.

The car to the left of the F1 is a rarely seen 1953 Mercury Monterey Hardtop.

How many of those 76,119 Merc Monterey HT's remain? Prolly a couple of hundred, tops.

Smile F1's are a blast!

If you're up for a challenge, these trucks can be very rewarding projects. Lots of parts, both OEM and aftermarket, are available. My advice! Keep it "Ford". You can Hot Rod'em or go stock, but keep it a Ford. Nuff said!

Pretty good looking truck, always nice if you could drive it while working on some of the small things as well.

Need Advice on this 49'

M.,
I agree with the other guys, that truck looks very good. The front fenders look very good, no real holes you can see anywhere. It runs, if you can get it for a couple grand your way ahead.

They are F-1 fenders on the front. The bigger ones have a lot larger opening than those ones do

Yes, it looks to be all there. I'm always leary when people start using rattle can paint just before it goes on a car lot for sale. Also new lights on the fenders. Maybe my eyes are seeing things, but the front fenders appear to have corrison coming through, also the left rear. Of course you do have options with fenders. The ripples could be rust, bondo, etc.The lower front fenders more so. Price depends how deep your pockets are. I would wait until something comes up close enough so I could drive to look at it. Comments are writers opinions only. Have a great day, chuck
