Which Campsites ?

Placermike, you been online posted in chatter threads and took off since this was asked yesterday in the G2G thread.

Have you posted what are the reserved campsite numbers?

The Group Site

We have the group site, which can accomidate up to 100 people. It has two fire rings. Some picnic benches and I beleive a shelter...It has been a few weeks since I looked at the details...Will check it out in a few and add a post.

According to the confirmation letter I received yesterday...Everyone just goes to the site...I am the only one that has to check in or out.

(Hmmm, the board didn't send auto-notification of a reply just for this thread, others it did.)

That's a good site, plenty of room and a nice view over the shore

The park website says that the beach is closed due to storm damage, we'll see. If y'all fish, get a license cuz the Rangers check.

Group AccommodationsThe park provides a group camp that accommodates up to 100 people. The camp offers excellent views of the Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. Water and vault toilets are on site. A full-service restroom is 100 yards away. Fees vary with size of the group. To reserve, call (888) CAMPOUT or (888) 226-7688

We don't have a number. Looking at the map, we are at the very end of the park road. The store is close by. I did get more details when I first called, but forget everything exactly. I beleive there are two fire rings a sheltered picnic area, There is a group parking area, and any trailors are supposed to be parked there...The camping part of the site is tent only, so RVs have to park in the group lot.

I am the only one that has to check in, so everyone just goes to the site.

Based on the ferry schedule, I should get there be able to get to the park shortly after noon to check the group in....I guess you just need to let the gate know you are with The FTE group when you get there.

If you have more specific questions, call (888) CAMPOUT. The have more information than the website.

Sounds good!...They say there is no beach access, but will try to find out if we can access on foot with surf poles.
