No one makes reproduction metal fenders for these truck. At one time there were some metal bottom halves being made but I don't know if they are still being reproduce. Last time I checked Sacramento Ford had them listed.

Metal fenders are getting very hard to find and if yours are in anyway able to be repaired you may have to repair them or go with fiberglass. Metal fenders do show up on eBay every so often but usually go for big $$$, plus more $$$ to ship such a big item. Swapmeet season is starting so go to as many swapmeet and car shows as you can, you may get lucky and find a decent pair.

Good luck

Good luck! There are still even some OEM new-in-the-box fenders out there, for around $2k apiece. I could live with glass or bondo for that kind of money!

Thanks if i cant rebuild them ill go with the glass. At least i have found metal runningboards. the truck is all original with flathead v8, three on the tree. It needs water pumps and new break lines but it runs good

I have an extra set of 51/52 F1 fenders, both uppers and lowers. NO rust through at the bottom. Fenders are original and steel. Fenders are mostly straight (nothing that can't be easily fixed). The only issue is that the right upper fender has a nickel to quarter size rust through hole at the corner where it curves into the headlight area.

As Bob was saying, good fenders demand high $$, especially 51/52 fenders as there were less of them made. I've sold worse 51/52 fenders, with the bottoms entirely rusted out for over $500 a pair.

PM if your seriously interested. I can also have the body work done on them and put in primer. All you'd have to do is paint them and put them on your truck.
