Tint on Back Window

I have got the tint to do the back window on my 88. I need to know how to get the inside weather stripping out so I can get the tint into it.

Is there a tint that will match the tint on the windows of the top. It don't look like the regualr mirror tint will be the same. I am looking to go with 2% Extreame Limo on the back and 35% limo to be in the legal limit in Ga.

Thanks for the help
Chris

Tint on Back Window

I tinted my '83 and it was the easiest window I have ever done. I opened the tailgate and rolled the window up/out and supported it on a stool and a few towels. I just slid the tint under the weather strip and didn't remove anything. I sqeegee'd out most of the water and then cut it around the windows outline and then slid it in another 1/4 inch for the buffer zone at the edge. In all, didn't take but about 15 minutes.

If you have the proper tint tool referred to as a "popsicle stick" you can just push the weather strip down. That is what I did to mine when I tinted it.
